Cheese Rolling

Cheese Rolling at Cooper's Hill, Gloucester

Take part in one or all of five races at Cooper's Hill near Gloucester, UK as you try to be the first to catch a 7lb Double Gloucester. With the cheese rolling many a man/woman/child and occasional dog have been seen to hurl themselves down Cooper's Hill in the hope that they will be crowned the cheese rolling champ.

Taking place just once a year (sometimes not at all due to health and safety -boo!), the sport is thought to be over 200 years old and attracts participants and spectators from all around the world. Injuries vary from cuts and bruises to fractures and concusion.
